Hi! My name is Anya Butler - I am a Los Angeles/UK based director and designer, currently studying Character Animation at California Institute of the Arts. I thoroughly enjoy mixed media and exploring every aspect of the animation pipeline.

I was born and raised in the English countryside, meaning much of my art is inspired by it! I am also informed by my Russian/American roots: I explore the idea of not quite belonging to any one culture. I love injecting whimsy into the everyday, making the ordinary ✨extraordinary.✨ I also adore the colour yellow and overusing exclamation points!! They say diamonds are a girl's best friend but I prefer design tests ;)

When not drawing, I'm either at the gym, making music, editing videos for my YouTube channel or tending to the local wildlife.
